This local ONG is dedicated to preserve the coasts of Baja California Sur. Cabo Trek holds meetings with schools and hotels talking directly to local children and adults in the hope that the population understands the importance of respecting nature. http://www.costasalvaje.com
When Cabo Trek organizes “Beach clean up’s” either on the surface or underwater while diving, Project aware is the partner of our choice in order to give visibility to our efforts and support in the organization. http://www.projectaware.org
Cabo Trek supports also this nice ONG in the United States. WDC is collecting datas on Whales & Dolphins, we help them with yearly donations to keep the research going. http://us.whales.org/
We at Cabo Trek also support projects that could influence the Ocean in a indirect way. This project is to put a hold on Toxic Mines that are supposed to be built and exploited over the next few years in Cabo threatening to pollute ground water, the Ocean and People healts. Help us raise the voice of this ONG “Baja Sur Viva”. Find new on Facebook: look for “Baja Sur Viva” https://www.facebook.com/pages/Baja-Sur-Viva/138669849520478
